If only I could always fly in first class … I’d get the most legroom and the best amenity kits everywhere I go.
Unfortunately, that isn’t the case for me — or most of the flying public, for that matter. But I don’t let the fact that I’m in seat 32A keep me from that 1A mindset, and you shouldn’t either!
Here are five ideas to make economy feel like first:
Tune out the noise. I create my own bubble when I fly economy with headphones like these to drown out the hubbub.
Get comfy. Lots of airlines give business- and first-class passengers pajamas — some pretty darn comfy ones, at that. But why not bring your own for an economy seat?
Get cozy. You can still get some shut-eye, even if you aren’t in a lie-flat seat. Bringing a blanket and the right travel pillow can make you feel at home. (Even if it’s one that makes you look ridiculous, like this one.)
Keep up with your skincare routine. Freshen up as you approach your destination. These handy skincare kits are just as good (if not better) than most airlines’ amenity kits.
Of course, even the best tips and comfort items won’t make your seat any roomier. But why not add a little razzle-dazzle to your next economy flight and create your own first-class experience?
