To celebrate Memorial Day weekend, low-cost Icelandic carrier Play Airlines is back with a deal: Flights to Europe are currently going for as little as $99 to $129 one-way when booked as part of a round-trip itinerary.

Discounted tickets involve routes departing from New York, Boston and Washington, D.C., with a travel window running from late summer through December.

  • From $99 — From New York Stewart International Airport (SWF), Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Dulles International Airport (IAD) near Washington, D.C., to Reykjavik's Keflavik Airport (KEF)
  • From $129 — From the same East Coast departure cities to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), Copenhagen Airport (CPH), Dublin Airport (DUB), Dusseldorf Airport (DUS), Hamburg Airport (HAM), London Stansted Airport (STN) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).

Discounted flights will be for Play's basic fare, which permits travelers one personal item that can fit underneath the seat in front of them. Personal items must be smaller than 17 inches by 18 inches by 10 inches and under 22 pounds. Full-size carry-on bags start at $43, and checked bags start at $51, plus there are additional fees for flight changes, cancellations and seat selection.
