Starting tomorrow, you'll earn a 35% bonus when converting Marriott points into Aeroplan miles. The promotion ends on June 26, so if you've been thinking about moving points to a solid loyalty program, this would be the time.

Marriott points convert to miles at a 3:1 ratio for most programs. However, for every increment of 60,000 points you transfer, you earn 5,000 bonus miles. So normally 60,000 points would convert to 25,000 miles.

However, this promotion makes the ratio even better — 60,000 points will turn into 33,750 Aeroplan miles.

Aeroplan has one of the better award charts out there, especially for getting to Europe. Business class on Star Alliance carriers goes for 55,000 miles one-way between the US/Canada and most of Europe. With this bonus, you can fly United's new Polaris product, which has received great reviews from TPG staffers for just about 111,000 Marriott points.

Or if you really want to ball out, first class can be booked for 70,000 miles one-way. You can enjoy one of the nicest products in the sky, Lufthansa First, for about 133,000 Marriott points with the transfer bonus. While taxes and fees are reasonable on most awards booked through Aeroplan, they can get pretty high on carriers like Lufthansa.

Here's Aeroplan's full award chart (note that all prices are for round-trip itineraries):

In May 2017, Air Canada dropped Aeroplan with plans to launch its own loyalty program. But the airline actually bought back Aeroplan with plans to relaunch it in 2020. Keep this in mind because the current award chart may change when the program is rebooted.

If you still need more Aeroplan points after transferring Marriott points, Aeroplan is also a transfer partner of American Express Membership Rewards and Capital One, which convert at a 1:1 ratio and 2:1.5 ratio, respectively.
