Between flight reviews, 360-degree cabin shots and Google Street View, there are plenty of ways of checking out a new aircraft cabin. But, seemingly for the first time, a new cabin interior is being introduced through the Mannequin Challenge. Kuwait Airways showed off its brand-new 777-300ER cabin interior in a video posted on Instagram yesterday:

From about 50 passengers and crew remaining completely motionless — including a baby — to the seemingly mandatory dab in the background, it's safe to say that Kuwait nailed this challenge. And the video shows that the carrier nailed the new cabin layout as well.

TPG reviewed Kuwait Airways' older 777-200 first-class product in late 2015 and found it severely lacking. While the 777-200 first-class cabin is arranged 2-3-2 with angle-flat seats, the 777-300ER first-class seats are four-wide fully enclosed suites, each with aisle access.

For a more detailed look at the first-class cabin, check out these still photos from a tour:

From the looks, these first-class seats should lie completely flat. Combining that with a sliding suite door, it should allow for a rather comfortable and private ride.

Kuwait Airways made a solid choice for its business-class seats. Image courtesy of Kuwait Airways.

Business class is quite impressive as well. Kuwait Airways opted to install B/E Aerospace Diamond seats, which are the same seats you'll find on American Airlines A321T business class, United's 757s and American Airlines' newly retrofitted transatlantic 757s. The 2-2-2 arrangement of these seats means that the window seats don't have aisle access, but this is a solid lie-flat hard product overall.

The economy cabin is nine seats wide. Image courtesy of Kuwait Airways.

As the video panned to economy, we were just as shocked as this kid to see a newly released economy cabin arranged with just nine seats across. With United and American Airlines already flying planes with 10-wide economy cabins and British Airways and Cathay Pacific planning to do the same, it's refreshing to see a new 777 cabin arrangement with a slightly less cramped economy class.

While the airline has progressed its cabin interiors and marketing skills, we're still hoping for Kuwait Airways to progress when it comes to allowing Israeli citizens on its flights — a restriction that forced the airline to quit flying between New York City and London. Also, if you need couple gin and tonics to make it through a long flight, keep in mind that Kuwait Airways — like the country of Kuwait — is completely alcohol-free.

Speaking of Kuwait, if you're planning on visiting, make sure you're okay handing over a DNA sample with your passport. While the law hasn't been implemented yet, you could be subject to this new law if you visit sometime in the future.

Are you going to check out the new Kuwait Airways 777?
