You can now preselect your meals on long-haul Delta Air Lines Comfort+ flights
Delta Air Lines is further differentiating its Comfort+ cabin on many of its long-haul flights. On Thursday, the Atlanta-based airline started offering preselection of meals in the extra-legroom section of its coach cabins.
Those booked in Comfort+ on transoceanic and long-haul Hawaii flights with a meal service (with just a few exceptions) will be able to preselect from a choice of meal options.

Customers will get an email a week before departure with a link to preselect their meal. Delta said that meal choices will be refreshed monthly on international flights.
You can click on the link in the email, or you can preselect the meal in the FlyDelta app beginning seven days before the flight. Note that selections must be made within 24 hours prior to departure.
This is what the email looked like for a business-class flight from Los Angeles to Brisbane, Australia, back in February.

The email reads, "We invite you to view the menu and select your meal up to 24 hours before departure."
Shorter flights like those to Keflavik Airport (KEF) in Reykjavik and Colombia's El Dorado International Airport (BOG) do not have the option.
Delta told TPG it's a move aimed at "further elevating and differentiating the Comfort+ customer experience."
"At Delta, we know our customers value choice when it comes to their travel experience," said Stephanie Laster, managing director of onboard culinary experience. "This exciting enhancement is part of our ongoing efforts to deliver a best-in-class customer experience from nose to tail."
