Cheap Summer Business Class Flights to Europe: JFK- London on Delta from $1,395 Total Roundtrip
Last week I posted about unbelievably low business class fares to Istanbul- from $1,300 roundtrip from NYC. Well, it seems as it other airlines have also jumped in on discounting summer business class roundtrips to Europe. The key is that you need to stay for at least 10 nights and less than 31, but if that isn't an issue, you can easily get business class for more than half off- and sometimes only a little bit cheaper than the lowest coach fare.
The best way to quickly search for available fares is to use the ITA Matrix calendar search. There are a ton of really good Delta fares to Madrid (one of my favorite cities), so let's test it out:

A calendar will show with available fares. Note: The "Multi-airline" option often shows false results that are actually in economy, so always click "Details" to make sure the entire trip is in business class.

ITA is a great search engine, but you cannot actually book the ticket. Once you have the dates and flight numbers, instead go directly to the airline website or your preferred online travel agency and book the flight. Remember, most airlines and sites will give you 24 hours to cancel your flight, so if you see something great, book now and firm up your plans before the free cancellation policy is over. Great deals never last long! American will actually let you put your flight on hold for 24 hours, so you don't even have to worry about a credit card charge. Check out this post for maximizing all of your airfare purchases by selecting the right booking site and credit card.

I searched a bunch of cities and found many options for sub $2,000. Most route on Delta, though I did see some United/ Star Alliance fares from LAX to London. I am personally going to wait for a Oneworld match, so I can work on re-qualifying for American Executive Platinum, but if you are looking to re-up Delta status, or simply want to fly in style (a lot of these Delta flights are on their 767-400 airplanes, which have fully lie-flat beds), then you may want to jump on these fares. They are discounted business class, which means you earn a 50% bonus on MQMs and regular SkyMiles, but if you need to change your flight, there is a $400 fee.
Some other great fares:

This Seattle- Dublin fare nets over 17,000 EQMs for $1,491, so just under 9 cents per EQM, which is pretty good for a paid business class fare.

Please share any really good deals that you find. I've already had a bunch of readers book trips at less than half of what they'd normally spend and I love hearing the sound of TPG readers saving money and racking up miles!
