Your complete guide to Chase and DoorDash
In 2020, Chase announced a partnership with DoorDash — the popular delivery platform — to provide eligible credit cardmembers complimentary DashPass memberships. This premium service unlocks unlimited $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on eligible orders placed through the platform.
And much to everyone's delight, the companies announced that they would extend their partnership until 2027.
Read on for our complete guide to Chase and DoorDash and how you can sign up to start saving today with DashPass.
Who can get a complimentary DoorDash membership
As noted above, DashPass unlocks $0 delivery fees and lower service fees on purchases that meet the subtotal minimum through DoorDash and Caviar. Most Chase credit cards are eligible for this premium membership, though the length of the complimentary period varies.

Here's an overview:
- Complimentary membership of at least one year when you activate by Dec. 31, 2027: Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees) and Chase Sapphire Reserve® (see rates and fees)
- Complimentary one-year membership when you activate by Dec. 31, 2027: Eligible cobranded cards like the World of Hyatt Credit Card (see rates and fees) and United℠ Explorer Card (see rates and fees)
- Complimentary six-month membership when you activate by Dec. 31, 2027: Freedom cards (including the Chase Freedom Flex®; see rates and fees and Chase Freedom Unlimited®; see rates and fees) and Slate cards
The deal is even sweeter for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers. In addition to the complimentary DashPass, you'll also get up to $25 in DoorDash promos each month through Dec. 31, 2027: a $5 monthly promo at checkout on eligible restaurant credit and up to two $10 promos to use on non-restaurant DoorDash orders each month.
However, all Chase cardmembers who have signed up for DashPass (and DashPass users in general) can benefit from the annual, members-only savings.
Benefits of Dashpass
DoorDash Dashpass comes with a handful of useful benefits that can save you money.
