Deal alert: Fly nonstop to Berlin from Miami and New York City from $259 round-trip
We have more price drops on European fares to tell you about — flights to Berlin from a handful of U.S. cities are on sale at big discounts for travel this fall.
This sale includes departure cities such as Atlanta; Washington, D.C.; Miami; and New York City. Most of the Scandinavian Airlines options involve layovers, but the Miami and New York City routes (with the budget carrier Norse Atlantic Airways) are nonstop.
The travel window is from August through February 2025. Prices fluctuated wildly during our search, but the bargains are there to be found. This sale is for economy tickets.
Scandinavian Airlines fares include a free carry-on. Norse Atlantic and Play Airlines allow one personal item for economy travel. A carry-on bag costs $45-$66 each way and checked baggage costs anywhere from $75 to $110 each way.

Sample flights
Norse Atlantic has nonstop flights from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) in early October for just $259 round-trip. That's about half of what this route typically sells for. Don't wait long to book this.

The same route is available in September for $282 nonstop. We also saw this route at this price for December travel.

You can also fly nonstop from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Berlin in the fall for less than $300 round-trip on Norse Atlantic. You'll notice this itinerary includes Thanksgiving. That means you can peruse Berlin's famous Christmas markets, which usually begin the last week in November.

Flights from Miami to Berlin in early 2025 are slightly more expensive, but $309 for a nonstop ticket is still a really good price for this route.

There are some solid sale fares out of Atlanta to Germany, as well. SAS has round-trip fares from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to Berlin in early December for $487. That includes layovers in Copenhagen, with a 20-hour stop in the Danish capital on the return flight.

Unlike Norse Atlantic fares, SAS fares come with a free carry-on bag. According to Google Flights, this route usually costs more than a thousand dollars.

You can book fares on Play Airlines out of Dulles International Airport (IAD) near Washington, D.C., to Berlin in early 2025 for $365 round-trip. This route has layovers each way in Iceland, and you'll have to pay extra for a carry-on bag.

If you can travel in early September, you can book round-trip fares on Norse Atlantic from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Berlin for only $432. That's a huge discount from typical prices for this route.
