Here's what TPG staffers are ordering for the Amazon Prime Day sale
These prices were accurate as of the Amazon Prime Day sale on Oct. 12 and will vary after that time.
Some things are better in twos: a double scoop of ice cream, another helping of Thanksgiving turkey, a second Amazon Prime Day.
Like Amazon's early summer sitewide discount spree, this week's Prime members-only Early Access sale for holiday shopping offers a range of discounted products across the millions of options on the retailer's site.

Among the highlights are travel must-haves that will make any trip — including upcoming holiday travel — more comfortable and enjoyable.
From electronics to suitcases to kids toys, here's what TPG staffers are ordering for Amazon's fall Prime Day.
Sony WH-1000XM5 Noise-Canceling Headphones — $348 (originally $400)
"The new Sony WH-1000XM5 noise-canceling headphones are on my wish list," TPG associate Riley Rosado says. "They're perfect for travel and also can be used for hands-free calls when you're back on the ground."
Theragun Mini — $149 (originally $199)
A Theragun Mini is perfect to ease sore muscles after sitting in a cramped airplane seat or taking a long-haul flight, putting it at the top of senior product management director Gabe Travers' Prime Day picks.
JZRSuitcase — $64 (originally $80)
For some travelers, including TPG reporter Caroline Tanner, having a reliable carry on rolling bag is important, especially to avoid checking a bag. This one, measuring 20 by 9.87 by 13.78 inches, adheres to most carry-on policies for both domestic and international airlines, which makes it an appealing option.

Belkin Portable Power Bank Charger — $25 (originally $30)
"I love my Belkin portable charger, and I would highly recommend the brand," says managing editor Clint Henderson of the slim multiple-port charger that provides 36 hours of charge.
Cloud Slides — $16 (originally $22)
Caroline Tanner is also always looking for footwear options she can wear on travel days, especially on long-haul international flights. She's looking forward to changing into these slides that are cheap yet chic on her upcoming flight to Singapore.
FuelRods — $26 (originally $40)
Theme park aficionado and editorial director Summer Hull recommends FuelRods, especially for anyone planning a trip to Disney World. In the parks, she explains, FuelRods are $30 each, but right now you can get a pack of two for about $26 via the Amazon Prime sale. Obviously paying $13 for each, instead of $30 each in the park, is some savings worth noting.
Veken Packing Cubes — $20 (originally $29)
Senior cruise writer Ashley Kosciolek is looking at adding more packing cubes to her travel list. "I received my first set of packing cubes as a Christmas gift from my aunt just a few years ago, long after I became a cruise expert. I grudgingly tried them, convinced they wouldn't help. Long story short: I'm now a seasoned carry-on-only traveler, and it is 100% thanks to those cubes."
Collapsible Buckets — $15.99 (originally $20)
Traveling with kids brings a new set of travel packing and planning needs. Cruise editor Erica Silverstein picked up these collapsible buckets that pop flat into a suitcase for her kids to use on the beach the next time they sail.
Keen Newport Sandals — $23 (originally $65)
Editor Caroline Lascom has an eye on these eco-friendly Keens for her son for their next family outdoor adventure. "There are few more comfortable, durable, hybrid shoes out there. They can handle pretty much any adventure you throw at it — rafting, hiking, horseback riding, sailing. And you can even put them in the washing machine."
Travel Toiletry Bottles — $14.99 (originally $22.58)
Personally, I'm looking for a new way to organize my endless toiletries, so I'm excited about these leakproof silicone bottles that cost only $15 for the entire 16-piece set.
