If you hate standing in long security lines at the airport (raises both hands wildly), we have some good news … and some potential bad news.

First, the good news.

If you’ve been ignoring the “magic” of registering for and using the often lightning-fast TSA PreCheck Touchless ID security lines because they were only available at a few airports, that’s recently changed dramatically.

TSA PreCheck Touchless ID (which lets you skip pulling out both your ID and boarding pass) is now fully rolled out at over 60 airports across the country.

And yes, this is different from both TSA PreCheck and Clear. To be ready to use TSA PreCheck Touchless, you do need to have TSA PreCheck and opt into the program with your individual airline – here’s how to opt in and a rundown of which airlines participate.

Now the potential bad news.

There’s growing concern that the long security lines seen in March may return by the middle of May. Here’s an article on why that may happen.
