Is breakfast really the most important meal of the day? I have no idea, but I do know that a good hotel breakfast is my favorite meal of the day when I travel. You can satisfy your sweet tooth with a cinnamon roll or get your protein and veggies with a savory omelet (or you can do what I do and get both).
Whatever your favorite hotel breakfast is, it tastes even better when it’s free. Luckily, there are several ways to get a free breakfast when you travel.
Hotel brands like Hampton by Hilton, Drury Hotels and SpringHill Suites serve up free breakfast to all guests. In fact, TPG’s own Tanner Saunders ranked 10 of the most popular hotel breakfast offerings. The winner has made-to-order omelets, fluffy eggs and a large selection of better-for-you items.
Even if you are staying in a hotel that doesn’t offer complimentary breakfast, your hotel elite status perks may help you fill your plate for free:
World of Hyatt Globalist members can get free lounge access or complimentary breakfast for up to two adults and two children at locations without a club lounge.
Even if you aren’t a frequent traveler, there are credit cards that come with automatic hotel elite status as a perk.
