Every time I take a trip, I immediately want to return to see, do and eat everything I didn’t get around to the first time.
Take my recent visit to Savannah, Georgia, for example. The TPG newsletter team met there a couple of months ago, and I already have a long list of things I want to do when I visit again.
Yosemite National Park: You may not immediately associate national parks with points hotels. But, thanks to Hyatt’s partnership with Under Canvas, you can book the glamping trip of your dreams at Under Canvas Yosemite (opening May 15). You can earn or redeem World of Hyatt points for several room types, including “stargazer” tents with viewing windows over the bed.
Orlando: My theme park reporting assignments often take me to Orlando. Obviously, I think every month is a good month to visit Central Florida, but there is one “epic” reason to visit this May. Universal Orlando’s newest theme park, Universal Epic Universe, opens May 22. TPG has a full guide to this new park, and I recently returned from the park’s “crown jewel” hotel, Universal Helios Grand Hotel.
Galapagos Islands: I’ve been enamored with Ecuador’s Galapagos Islands since my high school anthropology class, when I first learned about the species Charles Darwin studied there. It’s my dream to snorkel and hike among sea lions, blue-footed boobies, iguanas and giant tortoises.
Whether you travel close to home or prefer more far-flung destinations, TPG has got you covered. Here are a few more recommendations for your upcoming travels:
