The easiest way to earn a big pile of points and miles is by earning a credit card welcome offer. And if you fly Delta Air Lines at least occasionally, these new elevated welcome offers on Delta cards — which go as high as 100,000 bonus miles — are definitely worth considering.
Topping the list is the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card, which is offering 100,000 bonus miles after you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first six months of card membership. Another great thing about this card is the lounge access it provides. Despite Delta’s new Sky Club access restrictions, the Delta Reserve still offers 15 visits each Medallion year.
Meanwhile, the Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card is currently offering 80,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first six months of card membership. This is a great card to start with, as it offers a first checked bag free for you and up to eight companions on Delta flights.
You can redeem Delta miles for flights operated by Delta and its partners, and you can find one-way award flights bookable for as low as 5,000 miles on some domestic routes. Meanwhile, I’ve recently seen one-way economy flightsto Europe from 25,000 miles (such as a flight from New York to Amsterdam) and to Asia from 30,000 miles (such as Seattle to Taipei, Taiwan).
This means you could get several flights out of these elevated welcome offers! Here’s some more information to help you decide if one of these cards is a good fit for your wallet:
