2024 was a groundbreaking year at U.S. airports — one that brought us the unveiling of Delta Air Lines’ much-anticipated Delta One Lounge concept at three major hubs.
Already, though, 2025 is shaping up to be a banner year for new airport outposts and oases.
Delta, for one, just announced a slew of new, expanded or improved lounges, including one of the biggest Sky Clubs in its network — not to mention its fourth business-class-only lounge, opening in May in Seattle.
But it’s not just Delta that’s innovating and growing in the airport lounge space.
American Airlines is growing its own network of business-class lounges with a new Flagship Lounge at its Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) hub. That’ll be a welcome addition for the many passengers departing from Philly for Europe this summer.
2025 will also bring the unveiling of JetBlue’s first-ever clubs, set to open later this year, beginning with New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), with Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) close behind.
