I recently got interviewed by the New York Times and they just put the interview on their In Transit Blog. I also believe it'll be in the print version of this Sunday's Travel Section. I've been reading the NY Times Travel Section for years, so it's really humbling to see my advice featured. I hope it encourages people to think differently about points, because it still amazes me how many people I see paying in cash for every day purchases or using non-points earning credit and debit cards.

And to any new readers from the New York Times - welcome! Be sure to check out my Beginner's Guide, which is a great first step towards putting together a cohesive points strategy. Just be warned: once you start, you won't be able to stop until you are a full-fledged mileage junkie - enjoy the ride!
