Here's a recap of the interesting points and miles news from this week:

Earn double Elevate points for trips along the West Coast, and up to triple points between select cities.

Double or Triple Virgin America Elevate Points: Now through June 30, 2013, Virgin America Elevate members can earn either double or even triple points on West Coast flights. Elevate members will earn double points on all qualifying flights from SFO to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Portland, San Diego, and Seattle; and triple points after flying three round-trips on flights from SFO to Austin and Philadelphia. They'll earn double points on all qualifying flights from LAX to Portland and Seattle, and triple points after three roundtrips from LA to Vegas or Philadelphia; and triple points after three roundtrips from San Jose to LAX. The bonus points earned will count toward Elevate Silver or Elevate Gold status. To be eligible, Elevate members must first register prior to flying. Most revenue booking classes in Main Cabin, Main Cabin Select or First Class will qualify. The bonus points will be posted 4-6 weeks after the flight has been flown.

Earn up to 20,000 bonus American AAdvantage miles when flying Dallas-Lima.

Earn up to 20,000 bonus AAdvantage Miles On Flights from Dallas to Lima: American is offering AAdvantage members bonus miles when they fly between Dallas and Lima, Peru. To qualify, you must first register using promo code AALIM. This bonus is valid for flights between April 1, 2013 and June 30, 2013. Business class and economy class fares booked in Y, B or H will earn 20,000 bonus miles and all other economy class fares will earn 10,000 bonus miles, which are based on round-trip travel. However, each eligible one-way trip flown will receive half the bonus miles. The bonus miles will be awarded based on the booking class purchased, and will be posted immediately for each eligible segment flown. Hat Tip: One Mile at a Time

80% Bonus on Purchased Virgin America Elevate Points: Now through March 20, 2013, Virgin America is offering an 80% bonus on purchased points. To take part in this offer, head on over to the Virgin America Buy Miles page. However to see this offer, you must be logged into your Elevate account. As a reminder, Elevate points are sold in increments of 500 up to 20,000 points per calendar year. With the 80% bonus, the price comes to about 2.9 cents per point. The Elevate program is a fixed-value rewards program where you can use points to purchase any flight at a value of between 1.6-2.3 cents per point depending on the fare and itinerary. I'm not jumping all over this, but there could be value for those who are looking to use Elevate points on premium partner awards. Hat Tip: View from the Wing

Next, select JetBlue as your Double Dip earnings partner and enter your TrueBlue account number.
