La Compagnie Increases Frequency of Flights to Paris, Offers $1,400 Round-Trip Deal

All-business-class carrier La Compagnie will soon be changing service on its Newark (EWR) to Paris (CDG) route from one to two flights per day. The announcement comes just weeks after the carrier said it was cutting its New York to London route due to economic changes following the UK's historic Brexit decision.
To celebrate the new schedule, La Compagnie is also offering a special "Twice a Day" promotion for travelers to take advantage of — $1,400 round-trip fares for business-class travel between the New York City area and Paris. In fact, during the booking process, the price actually drops a couple of dollars below the advertised amount to $1,396 for a round-trip flight. In comparison, round-trip business-class tickets on the same route from its competitors are going for around $2,700 on those same dates.

TPG flew in La Compagnie's all-business-class aircraft on this exact route last year and while it wasn't the same high-quality business-class product he's come to expect from competitors, it was still a viable option for the route — especially at that lower price. For a transatlantic flight, it's definitely an excellent value for business-class flying and gets the job done.
If you're thinking of taking advantage of the additional flight per day, especially with this promotion, consider booking your ticket with a card that'll earn you the most return. The Chase Sapphire Reserve Card comes with a sign-up bonus of 100,000 points and will earn you 3x points on travel and dining worldwide. This $1,396 purchase would net you an additional 4,188 Ultimate Rewards points — worth about $88 based on TPG's recent valuations. In addition, the card offers travel insurance protection, which could be useful considering the financial future of the carrier isn't all that secure.
