Tuesday night was an incredible evening, as we launched the inaugural TPG Awards on the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. The lucky folks in attendance didn't just get to see Leymah Gbowee, Captain "Sully" Sullenburger and Bebe Rexha; they also went home with gift bags. Even if you weren't inside, you can still pick up some (or all!) of the items yourself, many of which make for great gifts or perfect stocking stuffers for your travel-loving friends and family members.

Here's a break-down of what was included.

Influencers and VIPs

We had many travel influencers in attendance, including several who presented awards, and their gift bags were chock full of goodies:

Bag: Samsonite Charcoal Spinner

The bag itself was from Samsonite, a 20" charcoal-colored spinner with a hard shell and a TSA combination lock. The brushed polycarbonate hides scuff marks, and the four multi-directional wheels make transiting the airport a breeze. Despite its durable features, it only weighs 6.7 pounds, making it a perfect addition to anyone's luggage collection.

Flight 001 Travel Adapter

Traveling outside the country brings an array of difficulties, including keeping your electronic devices fully charged when you're faced with different outlets. Fortunately, the Flight 001 universal travel adapter makes this easy, with color-coded plugs that'll keep you powered up in over 150 countries. This is a perfect addition to anyone's stocking this holiday season.

LYFT-Branded Wireless Charger

Speaking of electronics, these bags also included a LYFT-branded wireless charger. No more hauling around cords or finding a plug before your next flight. You'll be able to keep your batteries fully-juiced with a portable, convenient charger.

(And a big thanks to LYFT for offering discounted rides to and from the awards and for donating a portion of rides to Make-A-Wish.)

Flight 001 Notebook

For travelers interested in documenting their experiences or simply jotting down notes on the road, consider picking up a Flight 001 Notebook. These notebooks cover seven airports around the world: Bangkok (BKK), Hong Kong (HKG), Jakarta (JKT), Manila (MNL), Tokyo-Narita (NRT), San Francisco (SFO) and Sydney (SYD). You'll even have 12 calendar spreads fill in the dates and years of your trips as you go.

W&P Carry On Cocktail Kit

If you ever crave a real drink in the air, look no further than W&P's collection of carry on cocktail kits. Bags included the Old Fashioned kit with everything you need to make two classic beverages at 35,000 feet: small batch aromatic bitters, cane sugar, a travel-size bar spoon and muddler, a recipe card and a linen coaster. All you need to do is add the hard stuff and stir (or shake, based on your personal preference). Cheers!

Aviation Gin

For a slightly harder drink, consider picking up a pack of Aviation Gin. The Ryan Reynolds-owned company produces craft gin with a balanced and smooth taste with less juniper than a traditional one. The 50mL plane-sized bottles make for an ideal stocking stuffer for any #AvGeek, gin-drinking loved ones this month.

TPG Neck Pillow and TRTL Neck Pillow

It's not always possible to fly in luxurious premium class products (like the TPG Award-winning Qatar Qsuite or Emirates A380 first class). When you're stuck in economy, a neck pillow can make all the difference, and our VIPs now have two choices: a TPG-branded "traditional" one and a machine-washable Trtl version that looks like a scarf but is "scientifically proven" to keep your head positioned properly.

Bombas Socks

The charitable feel from Tuesday night doesn't need to stop in the light of day; purchase a pair of Bombas socks and the company will donate a pair to organizations that support homeless shelters around the country. More than 12 million pairs have been donated thus far, and we'd love to see the TPG reader community get that closer to 13 million.

Leymah Gbowee Book

Tuesday night, the crowd was wowed by 2011 Nobel Peace Prize winner Leymah Gbowee's speech (I even caught my wife wiping a few tears from her eyes by the end). Her story is inspiring, and her book Mighty Be Our Powers: How Sisterhood, Prayer, and Sex Changed a Nation at War tells how she and other determined young women helped bring peace to her home country of Liberia. Pick up a copy today to spread her message of empowering young girls to create a better world.

TPG Pop Socket

Taking a trip soon in first class? Don't want to worry about dropping your phone as you snap a selfie to post to Insta and make your friends jealous of all of the knowledge you've gained from The Points Guy? Then be sure to order a TPG pop socket today!

Airportag Luggage Tag

Flight attendants may not always know the cabin in which you're sitting, but this luggage tag will let them know where you belong. After all, if you're a regular TPG reader, a "Do I look like I fly economy?" tag fits the bill perfectly.

Chase-Branded Tote

The final gift in the bag was a Chase-branded tote. Use it for toiletries, chargers, cosmetics, snacks...anything to make your travel more comfortable.

ExpertFlyer One-Year Subscription

In addition to the above tangible gifts, attendees also received a unique coupon code for one free year of ExpertFlyer's premium service. If you're not familiar with this site, it'll take your award travel to the next level by allowing you to search for award inventory and set alerts if your desired flight or class of service isn't available. ExpertFlyer joined the TPG and Red Ventures family this fall, and as a long-time premium subscriber myself, I can vouch that the service has landed me and my family in business or first class dozens of times over the years.

Attendee Bags

The attendee bags were a bit different. Everyone in attendance snagged a Samsonite Modern Utility Double Shot Backpack on the way out the door, a great solution for the casual traveler in need of a sturdy carry-on with spots for all of your electronics, including a padded compartment that can hold up to a 15.6-inch laptop. The durable polyester will last for years, and with a water-resistant bottom, you won't need to fret if it winds up sitting on a wet sidewalk. At only 2.5 pounds, it's lightweight, though Tuesday night it was anything but that thanks to the goodies inside.

The bags were filled with several of the same items above:

Bottom Line

I know there's a bit of #FOMO over the inaugural TPG Awards Tuesday night, but the snazzy gift bags that were given out to both influencers and attendees can easily be duplicated for your loved ones who may not have been able to attend. Pick up some (or all) of the items above this holiday season.
