Air France shows off new and expanded business-class lounge in Paris
Air France's business-class passengers and SkyTeam elite status members have a new and expanded place to relax before long-haul flights departing Paris, as the French flag carrier unveiled a massive revamp of its business-class lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) on Tuesday.
Situated in Terminal 2E, Hall K — home to many of the airline's long-haul flights — the outpost got a nearly 10,000-square-foot expansion and an overall face-lift.

With space for 200 additional seats, a restaurant-style dining area and a spa for facial treatments, the updated club's capacity and amenities should be a boon for passengers ahead of a long flight — whether they're flying aboard Air France or one of its SkyTeam alliance partners, such as Delta Air Lines.
Air France business-class lounge in Paris
Air France's new club now boasts three levels at CDG. For a little comparison: Spanning around 30,000 square feet, it's roughly equivalent to the size of Delta's sprawling Sky Club at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Along with new bells, whistles, cuisine and amenities, the facility also underwent an overall aesthetic refresh — as shown in the "before" photo, below, snapped in 2023 by TPG's Clint Henderson.

Today, when you walk into the lounge, you'll notice Air France's signature colors — blue, white and occasional pops of red — accented by oak wood and "metallic champagne" notes, all combining for what the airline has dubbed a "refined, chic ambience."

Also prominently displayed: Air France's historic "winged seahorse" emblem.

A major expansion
The newly renovated Air France club sports a "completely redesigned" facility, now with space for a total of 638 customers — a 45% expansion in capacity over the prior iteration.
On the top level, the "petit salon" offers a quiet space for work and relaxation, with tables for coworking and a meeting room nearby as well.

There's a space reserved specifically for top-tier Flying Blue Ultimate members, featuring restaurant-style dining service and expansive runway views ripe for planespotting.
The outpost's menu features French dishes which Air France said include beef cheek piperade, fish fillet with lemon sauce, and a variety of other offerings by French chef Alain Ducasse's Ducasse Paris restaurant group.

The lounge also features relaxation loungers the airline said should offer "bed-like comfort" for passengers in the midst of a long travel day, as well as a Clarins spa booth offering a variety of facial treatments.
"Celebrating French travel excellence, it offers even more spaces, services and comfort for customers to enjoy before a flight or when they have a connection," Air France said in a statement announcing the news.
How to enter the Air France lounge
There are a few ways you'll be able to enter this lounge, including:
- Flying on an Air France-operated long-haul business-class ticket, or on a shorter flight beyond the Schengen Area
- Flying on a comparable fare aboard a SkyTeam partner (such as Delta One back to the U.S.)
- Being a SkyTeam Elite Plus member, which you can hit by reaching the Delta SkyMiles Medallion Gold (or higher) tier

Upping its game on the premium front
Air France's lounge expansion in Paris comes as the carrier is in the midst of upgrading its premium offerings more broadly. Last month, it unveiled the new generation of its La Premier first-class suites. And this week TPG reported the airline would start outfitting its long-haul business-class seats with mattress pads from a high-end French hotel chain.

The carrier has also seen Delta, its America-based SkyTeam partner, up its game on the long-haul premium lounge front with three Delta One Lounge outposts opening in 2024, and a fourth set to debut later this year in Seattle.
