All Las Vegas vacations are not alike. And when your primary travel goal in Las Vegas is to experience one of the biggest sporting events on the calendar, picking one of the best Vegas hotels with a convenient location can make your visit all the smoother, particularly when it comes to navigating game day traffic and crowds.

When deciding where to stay, consider how important it is to you to have on-site gaming access (after all, you’re in Vegas) and other amenities like fancy pool decks and free parking.

Each of the hotels we’ve selected brings something unique to the table since no two travelers to Las Vegas and Allegiant Stadium are coming in search of the same experience. Some properties offer better access to the Strip, while others are positioned to get you to the stadium and back and forth from the airport as efficiently as possible.

Getting to Allegiant Stadium

You can walk to Allegiant Stadium from all of the hotels we’ve selected, but it just depends on how many miles you want to put on your sneakers. To stay within a 15-minute stroll of Allegiant Stadium, select a property within the surrounding Stadium District — you might be farther off the Strip here, but being able to walk to and from the event in a hurry is a serious perk.

Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport is about a 10-minute ride from Allegiant Stadium. Count on about the same time to get to Allegiant Stadium from centrally located hotels on the Strip, too, like The Venetian and Planet Hollywood.

Rideshare options and taxis operate throughout Las Vegas, and you can ride the monorail along the Strip, but note that it does not travel to Allegiant Stadium. You can walk to Allegiant Stadium from the Las Vegas Strip via the Hacienda Bridge. And rideshare pickup and dropoff at Allegiant Stadium is from Lot N, north of the stadium.

For public transport to Allegiant Stadium from the Strip or downtown Las Vegas, RTC’s double-decker Deuce bus brings guests from those areas to the Hacienda Bridge via the Mandalay Bay transit stop.

The 43-story hotel is known for having one of best hotel pools in Las Vegas (and that’s saying a lot in this desert town of aquatic excess), with an 11-acre watering playground complete with a real sand beach, lazy river, wave park and lagoon to partake in when you’re not at the stadium, casino or down on the Strip, which is just out the door.

When it comes to resting one’s head for a good night of sleep, guests can look forward to an array of room types, from standard 550-square-foot rooms to sumptuous suites. Depending on the room you book, you might get a floor-to-ceiling view of the Strip, as seen in some of the king and queen rooms. The hotel’s Stay Well rooms feature special air purification systems, shower infusers and online access to sleep and stress-reduction programs from Cleveland Clinic.

When you’ve come to Las Vegas for a big game or another event at Allegiant Stadium but don’t need to roll the dice where you sleep, escape to the Four Season Hotel Las Vegas, a literal hotel-within-a-hotel that’s secreted away on the five upper floors of Mandalay Bay. It also happens to be one of the best hotels in Las Vegas (even though — and for some, precisely because — it has no casino of its own).

Art Deco-inspired furnishings and marble bathrooms round out the elegance in the hotel’s 424 guest rooms, and that heritage Four Seasons comfort is a guarantee (ah, those pillow-top beds). Guests have access to Mandalay Bay’s extensive pool area if the Four Seasons’ more subdued scene seems too low-key.

The icing on top of this luxe stay? Allegiant Stadium is just a 20-minute stroll away.

A monorail connects Luxor to sister MGM Resort, Mandalay Bay. Luxor, with guest rooms inside its iconic 350-foot-tall pyramid, is considered the more budget- and family-friendly option compared to Mandalay.

You can get to Allegiant Stadium from here in roughly 10 minutes. And if you’re traveling with kids, it’s good to know that Luxor is considered among the best family-friendly hotels in Las Vegas, with on-site exhibits where you can browse Egyptian artifacts and the incredible after-dark sight of the Luxor Sky Beam that shoots a stream of intense light from the top of the pyramid that can be seen from miles around.

Accommodations here are straightforward but comfortable, with cheerful splashes of color throughout and some terrific city views. Room types range from Pyramid and Tower king and double-queen options to spacious corner suites. Just keep in mind that those Pyramid rooms will have unique, slanted walls.

During events at Allegiant Stadium, The Fan District spreads between here and Mandalay Bay before and during the main events, drawing legions of fans out to celebrate.

Rates at Luxor start at $33 per night.

If you’re looking for a luxury stay but more mellow vibes than what abounds at most spots on the Strip — and don’t mind being a bit farther from Allegiant Stadium (six minutes by car or a 40-minute walk) — Aria Resort & Casino might be right up your alley.

The MGM Resorts property goes for glitz over gimmicks and has notably sprawling rooms with incredible views as well as excellent on-site dining options by way of lauded restaurants like Carbone and Jean Georges Steakhouse.

Even the non-suite rooms are markedly spacious, with the smaller among them a roomy 520 square feet.

Rates at Aria start around $135 per night.

Formerly the Monte Carlo hotel, Park MGM opened in 2018 right along Las Vegas Boulevard across from the MGM Grand. For a budget-conscious stay in the heart of it all, it’s hard to top, even if it will take you about half an hour to walk from here (or a five-minute car ride) to Allegiant Stadium.

Rooms meet basic needs but have been recently updated and feel crisp with touches like wall art and chic color blocking. Guests will find that there are three pools on the pool deck (including an adults-only option), an on-site casino with poker, baccarat and slots, as well as an outpost of Eataly, the famed Italian marketplace.

The hotel’s top four floors are occupied by hotel-within-a-hotel (Vegas loves this trend) NoMad, with 239 rooms, more of a boutique feel and its own pool just for guests.

Rates at Park MGM start at $50 per night.

The former Bally’s Vegas was recently rebranded as Horseshoe Las Vegas, which opened its doors in March 2023 and is easy to spot with its 180-foot-tall marquee where Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road intersect.

With over 2,800 guest rooms, the sprawling resort and casino is an entertainment mecca complete with the 7,000-square-foot, neon-hued playground, The ARCADE, where you can play more than 80 games ranging from Air Hockey and Skee Ball to virtual reality games. Guy Fieri and Martha Stewart both have branded lifestyle restaurants on the property, and the palm-lined Blu Pool is perfect for a dip.

Rooms are comfortable and colorful, with modern upholstery and marble bathrooms accented with lots of rich wooden hues.

It’ll take you about 11 minutes by car to get to Allegiant Stadium from here.

With a central location right on the Strip and just an eight-minute car ride to Allegiant Stadium (count on about 40 minutes if you walk), come to Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino for the mix of on-site dining, shopping and nonstop play.

The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools and hot tubs that overlook The Strip and is directly connected to the Miracle Mile Shops, a retail extravaganza stretching over a mile long.

For dining on-site, there’s everything from Gordon Ramsay Burger and P.F. Chang’s to a steakhouse with Hollywood vintage-inspired decor. More than 100 slots and 86 table games also await players.

In the rooms, guests can expect contemporary decor, pops of color and comfortable beds, as well as extras like in-room mini fridges.

Rates at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino start at $150 per night.

The smallest accommodations at this all-suite luxury Vegas resort, located about a 10-minute drive from Allegiant Stadium, clock in at over 650 square feet. So come to The Venetian Resort Las Vegas to see a show or game at the nearby stadium, but stay to spread out in serious comfort and style in the heart of all the city’s action.

The iconic three-tower property, which happens to be one of the biggest hotel complexes in the world, is right next to the 300-plus foot tall Sphere, too, getting lots of ink in 2023 and 2024 for its U2 residency, among other cool shows.

It’s no secret that The Venetian goes all-in on the Italian theme for guests who want to pretend they’re in Venice — just take a peek at the enormous Michelangelo reproductions or the maze of canals (with gondola rides!) in the mall. It also has one of Vegas’ most popular pool decks, which spreads across a full five acres.

The vast and varied dining options range from upscale Chinese at Mott 32 to celebrity chef outposts from the likes of Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck and other food celebrities.

Just a 10-minute ride from the airport and Allegiant Stadium, this off-Strip property is big with conventioneers and budget travelers who still want lots of bells, whistles and all the bright neon lights that scream Vegas — but don’t mind being a little farther out from the heart of the action.

The more than 1,500 rooms, called chambers, are stylish and comfortable, with color-pop art, small couches for relaxing and a door that can be closed to separate the hall and bathroom space. They’re spread across several towers just past the 60,000-square-foot casino.

Look forward to unwinding in the on-site spa or relaxing at the Mykonos-inspired beach area called Élia Beach, where DJs regularly spin tunes.

Rates at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Curio Collection by Hilton start at $53 per night or 30,000 Hilton Honors points.

When you’re mainly coming to Las Vegas to catch a show or game at Allegiant Stadium, and the goal is to get in and out in a hurry, it’s hard to beat this hotel within just a 15-minute walk of the venue, smack in the city’s Stadium District.

You’re half a mile off the Strip at Staybridge Suites Las Vegas, but the property makes up for it with perks like complimentary breakfast and evening social hours rounded out by suites that all have private balconies, so you can get some fresh air in the town where so much happens indoors.

The property also offers guests free shuttle service to the airport as well as the Strip.

South of the Strip and roughly 17 minutes on foot to Allegiant Stadium, the Residence Inn by Marriott Las Vegas Stadium Area also puts you within just a couple minutes of the airport, so it really couldn’t be more convenient. Combine this with budget-friendly rates and cozy accommodations (a bit quieter for sleeping, given its location), and you’ve got a great contender for one of the best hotels near Allegiant Stadium.

Free parking, complimentary breakfast, an outdoor swimming pool, barbecue grills guests can use and an on-site fitness center are among the amenities that make this property tick a lot of boxes for a lot of different travelers (it’s also pet-friendly).

Suites have full kitchens with separate living and sleeping areas, making them a favorite for family and extended-stay travel, too.
