Southwest Airlines launched a nice sale just in time for Cyber Monday. Southwest is offering flights up to 30% off for travel throughout the continental U.S., plus Puerto Rico and Hawaii, among other destinations. International routes are eligible as well.

Use the code "CYBERSALE" through Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, for 30% off travel through March 5, 2025, for domestic routes and May 22, 2025, for Hawaii, Puerto Rico and international destinations.

Sample flights

Use Southwest's Low Fare Calendar with the promo code applied to search for your desired route. I did a quick search for flights from California to Hawaii. I wouldn't say there were a ton of available deals, but I did find a few dates with discounts using either cash or Southwest Rapid Rewards points. Here's a fare calendar for January and February flights from Long Beach to Maui. You'll save about $126 on this round-trip flight which comes in around $356.

You could book that same discounted flight with points, too. A round-trip flight that would normally cost you nearly 35,000 Rapid Rewards points can be had during the sale for 24,395 Rapid Rewards points plus $11.20 in taxes and fees.

Here's another example for a flight from Oakland to Honolulu. You could book round-trip flights for as few as 23,231 Rapid Rewards points or $351.89.
