Travelers can experience scenic views of glaciers, mountains and wildlife of Alaska for a steal. Alaska Airlines is offering discounted fares to Anchorage from five U.S. cities starting below $200 round-trip.

The cheapest direct flight we found was Seattle (SEA) to Anchorage (ANC) for $180 round-trip.

On the East Coast, travelers can go from Newark (EWR) to Anchorage (ANC) for $266 round-trip. There is a stop in Seattle (SEA) each way.

There are nonstop flights widely available from Chicago (ORD) to Anchorage (ANC) at $256 round-trip.

Flights from Denver (DEN) to Anchorage (ANC) cost $277 round-trip. There are stops in Seattle each way, with a long layover on the return flight.

For $280 round-trip, travelers can go from Dallas (DFW) to Anchorage (ANC) with stops in Seattle (SEA) both ways.
