Reminder: Last Day To Win Best Western $250 Travel Card
Just a quick reminder that if you haven't done so already, enter my contest to win a $250 Travel Card from Best Western by 11:59pm EST today. To submit your entry, you need to go back to my original post from Monday and leave a comment there telling me which Best Western Premier property you'd use the $250 Travel Card to stay at. I'll pick a winner at random and announce it on Monday, October 1. Good luck!
Whether you win the gift card or not but have some Best Western stays coming up, remember to register for the fall promotion online at www.bestwestern.com/fall so that you can earn double points on stays between September 23 and November 18, and triple points if you book reservations through bestwestern.com.
As a bonus offer, members who use their Best Western Rewards MasterCard to pay for their first two stays will earn an additional 1,000 bonus points.
Best Western Rewards is a partner of American Express Membership Rewards and transfer at a 1:1 ratio in increments of 1,000 points. The program also has a number of airline partners including Aeroplan, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, Southwest, United, US Airways, Virgin Atlantic and more - most of which transfer at a rate of 1 mile to 5 Best Western points, so there are lots of other ways to rack up points with the program.
They've been aggressive about building up their elite status program, and will immediately match the elite status of any other hotel program a member has elite status with. Otherwise, Gold Elite status is awarded after 10 qualified nights in a calendar year and earns a 10% Rewards bonus, Platinum Elite is awarded after 15 qualified nights in a calendar year and earns a 15% bonus, and Diamond Elite status is awarded after 30 qualified nights in one calendar year and earns a 30% bonus. For more information, visit their status match page, and in the meantime, be sure to enter the contest before the deadline tonight!
