Travelers head to Arizona for the stunning views and activities such as hiking in the Grand Canyon or exploring national parks. The state's capital, Phoenix, offers opportunities to learn about the rich Pueblo Native American history and culture of the city. American Airlines is offering flights to Phoenix (PHX) from major cities across the U.S. for as low as $128 round-trip.

We learned about this offer from our friends at Secret Flying. This American Airlines deal is available for travel from the end of January to March. The month of February had the most variety of affordable flight options.

All the offers below are under $200 round-trip and we found some starting at $128. Some deals are for basic economy seating, including a carry-on, and some are for main cabin seating, which allows you to select a seat.

The cheapest and shortest flight we found was in the main cabin from Los Angeles (LAX) to Phoenix (PHX) for $128 round-trip with a departure in the middle of February.

Travelers in the Windy City can head to Phoenix (PHX) from Chicago (ORD) for $138 round-trip for a main cabin ticket.

For the same price, flyers can go to Phoenix (PHX) from Dallas (DFW) nonstop for $138 round-trip in the middle of February.

Floridians can fly from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Phoenix (PHX) for $154 round-trip at the beginning of February. The flight includes a short stop in Dallas on the departure and a layover in Charlotte (CLT) on the return trip.

From the beginning of February to the middle of the month, you can fly nonstop from New York (JFK) or Newark (EWR) to Phoenix (PHX) for $198 round-trip in basic economy.
