Fly from the Midwest to Cancun this winter for $291 round-trip

The perfect antidote to a cold Midwestern winter is a vacation to sunny Cancun. Luckily, Delta Air Lines is offering round-trip flights to Mexico's popular beach destination this January through February for less than $300 — that's $500 cheaper than usual.

There are plenty of flight options from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to Cancun International Airport (CUN) throughout January and February, as you can see in the Google Flights calendar below.

If you want to treat your loved one to a Valentine's Day getaway in Mexico, book a trip from Feb. 13-21 for $291.

This deal applies to Delta's basic economy fare, which comes with one carry-on bag. However, you won't be able to select your seat without paying a fee, and you'll be in the last boarding group.

According to Google Flights, tickets for this route normally cost around $800, so this deal is almost a no-brainer.
