Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you're using The Platinum Card® from American Express, you'll need to book directly with the airline or through the Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia's courtesy cancellation if you're unable to get the time away from work or family.

Today's JetBlue sale is themed, "Travel like a boss." While rates aren't quite as good as Monday's Get Goul-ing Sale, the deals will still save you a good chunk of change on travel between October 24 and December 15. To find the routes that are included as part of this flash sale, head to JetBlue's sale page. Rates are only valid through Oct. 17 at 11:59pm ET or local time, and while supplies last. Some blackout dates do apply; for the most part, discounted fares are not available around Thanksgiving or on Fridays and Sundays.

Remember that this is a good time to use JetBlue TrueBlue points since award redemptions are tied to the cost of the ticket.
