Scott’s Cheap Flights, which offers a premium membership starting at $49 a year for alerts on discounted fares, found this deal available for travel from March through May.

The deals below are for basic economy seats on Icelandair, which include a carry-on. Seat selection, a checked bag and any ticket changes will cost extra. There are overnight layovers in Iceland’s capital of Reykjavik on some of these flights, but that might be a good opportunity to check out the city.
One of the cheapest flights we found was from Chicago (ORD) to Glasgow (GLA) for $442 round-trip. Be mindful when booking this deal as there are stops over 20 hours in Reykjavík (KEF) each way.
Travelers can go from Washington (IAD) to Glasgow (GLA) for $460 round-trip in the middle of March with short stops in Reykjavík (KEF) each way.
There were also flights available from New York (JFK) to Glasgow (GLA) in the middle of May for $461 round-trip. There is a 30-hour overnight stop in Iceland’s capital on the return flight.
Unlike their neighbors in New York, New Jerseyans have short layovers in Iceland. Flights from Newark (EWR) to Glasgow (GLA) are available at $482 round-trip toward the end of May.
From the end of April to the beginning of May, travelers can head to Glasgow (GLA) from Boston (BOS) for $539 round-trip, but watch out for the lengthy overnight stopover in Reykjavík (KEF).
