Although Delta hasn't had a published award chart since February 2015, it does offer award flash sales fairly regularly. Destinations have included flights to Asia for 30,000 SkyMiles round-trip, London for 32,000 SkyMiles round-trip, Australia for 44,000 SkyMiles round-trip, Africa for 54,000 SkyMiles round-trip and more.

But today we are seeing the return of one of our favorite deals: domestic award flights for as little as 10,000 SkyMiles round-trip. For reference, United charges no less than 20,000 round-trip for an award flight. And the cheapest American Airlines awards are nonstop flights under 500 miles booked with a reduced mileage award code that still cost 13,000 round-trip.

At current TPG valuations, 10,000 SkyMiles are worth approximately $120. Adding in taxes of just $11 brings the total value of these awards to as little as $131 round-trip.

Delta's deals site lists 14 departure cities for this deal, but there are likely other options available. Given how widespread this sale is, your best bet would be to head to Delta.com and search around for the route of your choice to see how it’s pricing. The sale is scheduled to end Jan. 23, but availability comes and goes on these deals. So you'll want to book soon if you want to take advantage of the deal.
