Delta is currently running another fantastic award sale including deals to less frequently discounted destinations like Israel and South Africa.
Flights to major European hubs like Paris (CDG), London (LHR) and Amsterdam (AMS) are on sale from 28,000 Skymiles round-trip. While flights from New York (JFK), Philadelphia (PHL) and Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Johannesburg (JNB) start from 54,000 miles round-trip. Flights from Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis (MSP) and Salt Lake City (SLC) to Tel Aviv (TLV) start at 68,000 miles round-trip.
Even though Delta has recently introduced basic economy on award tickets, all of these fares book into Main Cabin, so you'll still be able to check a bag and select a seat for free.
You’ll want to head to Delta.com and enter your origin city and your preferred destination. Many departure cities appear to be available so it could still be worth plugging in even if you don’t see it listed below. If you’re short on miles, remember that you can instantly transfer American Express Membership Rewards points into your SkyMiles account at 1:1 ratio.
