It's a good day to get away for $35 one-way. See what I did there?

This deal comes from the ultra-low-cost carrier Breeze Airways, as U.S. airlines battle to compete with the $35-$39 fares offered by United and JetBlue earlier this week.

This deal is for bookings made Thursday only, so be sure to book fast if you are interested.

The $35 fares are for Breeze's "Nice" fare, which only allows passengers one personal carry-on item. You can pay $20 to access the overhead bin or check luggage. If you want a particular seat, you'll have to pay for standard seating, which starts at $10 for seats in the back of the plane and goes up to $15 for seats closer to the front of the cabin. Alternatively, you can pay $25 or $30 for 10 additional inches of legroom.

Bottom line

"Whether it's Spring Break, Valentine's Day, or Mardi Gras you're after, $35 fares make for a truly 'Fab Feb' bargain," David Neeleman, Breeze founder and CEO, said in a statement. "And with no change or cancellation fees, the time is right to book a trip or two today."
