20% Off Virgin America Flights and Double Points On West Coast Flights
Virgin America is currently holding a Facebook promotion to win a four-night stay at a Waldorf Astoria hotel or resort of your choice plus a flight for you and one other passenger for a long weekend anywhere Virgin flies. But more interestingly, when you like Virgin on the offer page, you'll get a promo code for 20% off a Virgin America flight.
To get the 20% discount code, you must enter the Waldorf Astoria contest by October 26, 2012, and you can only enter once per email address.
To apply your discount code, you must book your travel by by 11:59pm CDT on November 8, 2012, and travel must occur between October 7 - November 14, 2012. Tickets require 3-day advance purchase.
The 20% discount may only be used on nonstop or connecting travel, not multi-city itineraries, and is only good for one-time use on a non-refundable Main Cabin ticket. The promo code may only be used toward new reservations and not applied to prior bookings. Only the base fare (not taxes or fees) will be discounted. The promo is only open to US residents. You can find the rest of the T&C here.
West Coast Double Points
Virgin is actually hosting a concurrent promotion where, when you register and fly by November 15, Elevate members will earn double points on flights in the Main Cabin between Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle.
Per the T&C, Elevate members must enroll in the promotion by November 15 and register prior to their travel date to be eligible to earn the bonus. Elevate members usually earn 5 points per $1 spent on base fares, so with this promotion, you'll earn 10 points per $1 on base fares for qualifying flights booked and flown in Main Cabin.
Only travel ticketed on a Virgin America prefix VX flight and operated on Virgin America will qualify. If you're not yet a member of Elevate, you can join here.
