"Senior editor Christine Gallipeau is passionate about traveling the world and helping journalists tell their travel stories in an engaging, approachable manner that stays true to their unique voices and perspectives. Crediting her lifelong love of travel to her time as a People to People student ambassador in high school, Christine has visited more than 30 countries and has lived throughout the U.S., including in the South, in the Northeast, in the Midwest, on the West Coast and in the mid-Atlantic, where she's currently based. She has been collecting hotel and airline points and miles for more than two decades and regularly applies her personal experiences traveling the world to her day-to-day duties as an editor.
Christine has covered the travel industry as an editor for 10-plus years, spending part of her career at U.S. News & World Report overseeing that publication's Best Travel Rewards Programs and Best Vacations rankings before becoming a member of the TPG editorial team in 2021. Her expertise has been featured in various print publications and radio segments, including Condé Nast Traveler, The Boston Globe, MarketWatch, The Frommer's Travel Show, WTOP and KRLD."
