If you’re a deal seeker, the next seven days are undoubtedly your most exciting time of the year. That’s because Black Friday and Cyber Monday are traditionally when travel providers roll out their best offerings in an effort to kick off the holiday shopping season with a bang. In this post, we’ll round up all the hotel-related offers from the major chains and online travel agencies. Many of these deals can booked through the Citi Prestige concierge, so if you happen to have a Citi Prestige card, this is a great opportunity to save even more using that card’s 4th Night Free benefit.
Starting on Thanksgiving Day, Marriott and SPG will hold a cyber sale with discounted prices at more than 3,500 properties in the United States, Caribbean, Latin America and Canada. The chains are offering exclusive rates when you book between November 23-27 for stays between December 7, 2017 and January 15, 2018. Check marriott.com/cyber for nightly rates as low as $89, and you’ll find member rates starting at $89 on SPG.com/cyber.
If your travel plans are locked and you’re comfortable making non-cancellable, non-changeable hotel reservations, take a look at the Black Friday sale from Choice Hotels. The chain is offering up to 20% off prepaid hotel reservations at participating hotels. You’ll need to be a member of Choice Privileges, and reservations must be made anywhere between seven and 30 days in advance, depending on the property.
Starting on Black Friday and extending through Cyber Monday, Wyndham is putting nearly 50 of its hotels on sale from 30% to 55% off the best available rate. To receive the discount, you must book two or more nights at a participating hotel, which include properties such as the Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront and Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive. Use promo code HCYB17 when booking stays through September 30, 2018, and remember that these reservations are prepaid and non-refundable.
While it’s not technically billed as a Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale, Hyatt has launched a promotion called “The Places You Can Explore” which features discounts of up to 25% at more than 180 properties in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Asia Pacific and Nepal. Book anytime before January 15, 2018, for stays between December 15, 2017, and February 28, 2018. Full prepayment is required and reservations must be made at least three days in advance.
The online travel agency is running an entire “Cyber Week” of sales, stretching from Tuesday, November 21 to Wednesday, November 29. However, its most interesting promotion during the week is its Mystery Coupon, which offers a random discount up to 99% on a single booking with a maximum spend of $1,000. To get a Mystery Coupon, you have to submit an entry between Black Friday and Cyber Monday and then book with the coupon during that timeframe.
Black Friday deals on Priceline will launch two days early on the day before Thanksgiving (Wednesday, November 22), with 10% to 15% off hotel Express Deals for Priceline email insiders. Then on Cyber Monday, the site will run a 24-hour sale for insiders with discounts rotating throughout the day, from $600 off any $1,200 Express Deals hotel stays to $15 off $100 for in-app purchases.
The holiday deals from Expedia will change daily starting on Thanksgiving and eventually accelerate to an hourly refresh beginning at noon Eastern on Cyber Monday. Look for limited-quantity coupons for $50 off when you spend $200 or more on select standalone hotels, 75% on select standalone hotels, 90% off select hotels only on the Expedia app and $750 off $1,000 packages. Expedia deals booked during Black Friday and Cyber Monday have a travel window through March 31, 2018.
