American has been on a roll with giving out free miles lately and I'm not complaining! The newest easy, free hit is to sign-up for their shopping program and then watch a short video on the program. Unfortunately, I'm already an AA Shopping member so I'm ineligible for this one, but hope all of you can take advantage of it. Remember, you have to sign up to receive emails in order to get the first 500 miles and then watch the short video.

Hat tip to TPG reader Dan for emailing me about this!

How we chose these cards

Our points-obsessed staff uses a plethora of credit cards on a daily basis. If anyone on our team wouldn’t recommend it to a friend or a family member, we wouldn’t recommend it on The Points Guy either. Our opinions are our own, and have not been reviewed, approved, or endorsed by our advertising partners.
