I’ve seen some eye-watering award rates recently. However, there are still cheap award flights to be found. You can book select one-way economy award flights for as little as 3,500 miles. And in one case, you can even pay zero miles for your flight.
You can also find select flights for just a few thousand miles through airlines that use dynamic award pricing. For example, while writing this newsletter, I found the following options:
If you prefer to fly to Europe, you can often find Virgin Atlantic Flying Club saver fares for award flights starting at 6,000 points. Although the taxes and fees are worth mentioning at $109, you still can’t beat this award pricing across the pond.
So, if you think you don’t have enough points or miles to book an award flight, think again.
