As the end of the year approaches, your time to qualify for elite status with most loyalty programs is coming to a close.
Check your favorite programs to see how you’re progressing toward elite status. Even if you didn’t have any plans to earn elite status, you might find yourself close to reaching a higher tier.

In my case, I decided to book a four-day trip to Dubai, with just one full night in the city, to requalify for Asiana Airlines Diamond status (which gives me Star Alliance Gold status).
