You might be wondering whether you are eligible for this bonus and how much value you could get from 75,000 points.
Let’s start with eligibility for the sign-up bonus. In short, you won’t be eligible for this bonus if you currently have any Chase Sapphire credit card or received a new cardmember bonus on a Sapphire card within the last 48 months. And you’ll usually need a credit score of 700 to be approved.
If you change your product to a Chase Sapphire Preferred, you won’t receive the sign-up bonus. But if you are a current Chase Sapphire cardholder who didn’t earn a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months, you could downgrade your card and then apply for a new one.
As for how much 75,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards are worth, it depends on how you redeem them. The bonus is worth a guaranteed $937 when you redeem for travel through Chase Travel℠, as you can redeem points at a rate of 1.25 cents each. But you might get significantly more value if you transfer points to high-value Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer partners.
