Remember last year, when it seemed like everyone and their mother headed to Europe (especially Italy!) for the summer? We certainly hope every influencer, ex and random from our Explore page used points to journey to Italy and beyond before posting their entire trip on Instagram.
You could use those miles to get from the East Coast, including from Boston and Washington, to many European cities, starting at just 12,000 transferred Chase points or 15,000 Flying Blue miles.
With Flying Blue’s current Promo Rewards, economy awards start at 15,000 miles, premium economy awards at 17,500 miles and business-class awards at just 50,000 miles. You can search your desired dates and travel routes for this award availability in the Flying Blue calendar, which will display the lowest available fares.
Speaking of award sales to Europe, Singapore Airlines has reduced the miles required to fly from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Frankfurt to just 17,500 miles in economy and 56,700 in business class on many dates in May. Best of all, you can transfer miles to Singapore from many of the popular credit card award programs, including American Express Membership Rewards and Capital One.
