Register now: New Hilton bonus points promotion for summer stays

Hilton Honors almost always has an ongoing bonus points promotion for its members. The last promotion ended on April 30, but Hilton just announced a new Points Plus promotion that lets members earn 1,000 bonus points per stay. The downside: The Points Plus promotion is only for stays completed between June 1 and Aug. 15, so there's a gap between Hilton bonus points promotions.
As usual, you must go to the promotion's landing page and register before completing an eligible stay to earn the bonus points. So, go ahead and register now.
The Points Plus promotion is relatively straightforward. It's not limited to newly booked stays, so any eligible stays you've booked between June 1 and Aug. 15 can earn bonus points. However, know that what matters is your checkout date. Even if you check in before June 1, you'll still earn 1,000 bonus points for your stay as long as you check out between June 1 and Aug. 15.

Hilton Honors isn't limiting the number of bonus points you can earn with its Points Plus promotion. So, if you stay five times during the promotion, you'll earn 5,000 bonus points from these five stays. However, Hilton Honors defines a stay as "the total number of consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, whether or not a guest checks out and checks back in again." You can't simply book consecutive one-night reservations at the same hotel to earn more bonus points through this promotion.
Consider applying for a Hilton Honors card before your stay to earn more Hilton points. For example, the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card earns 12 points per dollar on eligible purchases made directly with hotels and resorts within the Hilton portfolio. Plus, you'll enjoy an 80% bonus on the base points you earn from stays as a perk of the complimentary Hilton Honors Gold status provided as a benefit of the Hilton Surpass Card.

Bottom line
Based on TPG's May 2025 valuations, 1,000 Hilton points are worth just $6. As such, this is certainly one of the weaker Hilton bonus points promotions we've seen. While I don't expect this Points Plus offer will encourage you to book more Hilton stays, it's still worth registering. After all, each stay during this promotion will still put 1,000 more points in your account. I recommend registering even if you don't plan to stay with Hilton this summer, as your plans may change.
