Fly smart, save big

Even if you haven’t booked your summer trips, there are plenty of ways to save on airfare. Google Flights is a TPG staffer favorite for tracking prices and saving on airfare. It lets you search for flights across your preferred alliance, compare prices and view the cheapest dates to travel. If you need some inspiration or are looking for the ultimate deal, you can also use the map to see the airfare prices with your filters. The platform also recently introduced a price guarantee. If your eligible flight drops by at least $5, you can receive up to $500 back in a calendar year. You can’t, however, book Southwest Airlines flights through Google Flights.

If you apply now for the Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus Credit Card, Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Credit Card or Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority Credit Card, you’ll earn 60,000 bonus points and a one-time 30%-off promo code after spending $3,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. With an expensive round-trip ticket, there are endless opportunities to maximize your 30%-off voucher.

Now is also an ideal time to save some miles by redeeming your Delta Air Lines TakeOff 15 discount, which is offered on many of its American Express cobranded credit cards, including:

Hopefully, you’ll be able to visit some fantastic destinations this summer without breaking the bank.

Happy landings!
