Airline route planners have been in overdrive the past two weeks, with a slew of big expansions — and a few cuts — across several big carriers.
United Airlines was among the latest to grow its route map, adding four new routes — and bringing back one city that it hasn’t served in nearly a decade. That news came just a week after United announced another new destination — this one a Caribbean island where United will become just the second U.S. carrier.
Budget carrier Frontier Airlines had the biggest expansion of the past two weeks, unveiling a whopping 22 new routes — as well as a new destination of its own. (Hint: Think ski season.)
