Southwest is Offering $49 One-Way Flights through Thursday

Southwest's 72-hour flight deals are back today, with a ton of different options around the US. The cheapest flights cost $49 on select routes, with many more options going up in price from there. The deal is available for just a couple days, until 11:59pm (local time of the origin) on Thursday, October 15. Keep in mind that many of these flights have different price points on the outbound and return routes, so you may end up paying a bit more than the one-way route would suggest.
Flight dates must be between December 2 and December 16 or between January 5 and February 10, 2016. Other restrictions include no travel on Fridays and Sundays. We recommend you check the full terms of the promotion for more information on potential limits.
This flight sale could be a good opportunity to work toward earning a companion pass early in the year. You can also earn double points on your purchase with the Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Credit Card.
