9 Shows and Movies to Download on Netflix for Your Next Flight
A flight free of work is a beautiful thing, but don't out your device away just yet. A span of unclaimed hours is the perfect time to tune into Netflix and check out, distraction free.
There are so many movies and shows out there, choosing a few to download can be downright overwhelming. But we pulled together all of the new titles coming to Netflix in September and did the hard work of choosing the best ones for you. All you have to do is hit that download button and relax.
September 1st - August Rush
This twisted tale of family, friends, and a child with an incredible musical talent will bring you to tears — but just blame it on the vulnerability of being on a plane. (Seriously, you're more likely to cry on a flight.)
September 1st - Bruce Almighty
What better way to consider the breadth of divine powers than by flying through the clouds as you do so? This go-to comedy starring Jim Carrey will have you re-considering your delightful lack of responsibilities from your plane seat.
September 1st – The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Although the trip that kicked off this story line was most certainly not voluntary, it is a journey of epic proportions.
September 1st – Martian Child
It might be a comedy, but this film highlighting the relationship between an adopted son and his father sure has its touching moments.
September 1st – The Breakfast Club
It doesn't get more iconic than The Breakfast Club. Follow along as the detention crew attempts to break out, with a few hilarious conversations in between.
September 3rd – Black Panther
Although somewhat new, this movie has quickly become a classic. Take advantage of your free airplane time to do yourself a favor and give it a watch.
September 14th – The World's Most Extraordinary Homes (Season 2)
If you ever find yourself casually (and innocently — always innocently) peeping through windows as you walk down the street, this may be your next binge-watch. Hosts Piers and Caroline travel through the U.S., Japan, Portugal, and Switzerland to tour some truly amazing homes around the world.
September 26th – Chef's Table: Volume 5
Season 5 will take you through Istanbul, Bangkok, and Barcelona, highlighting a few of the most innovative chefs in each locale. Prepare to be hungry and then slightly disappointed when your airplane meal doesn't rival the ones you see on the screen.
September 28th - Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father (Season 2)
Jack Whitehall, a comedian, travels through Europe with his dapper dad. In this season, they traipse through Moldova, Ukraine, Romania, Istanbul, the Bavarian Alps, and Budapest.
