Great news if you're planning a trip to Australia this year: Affordable flights from the US are still available, this time for flyers originating in San Francisco (SFO). Today's cheapest fares are heading to Sydney (SYD) and are available from $581 round-trip on Delta and Virgin Australia. Unlike yesterday's deal, it seems that the best rate is available on Virgin Australia's website or by calling — these itineraries can be found via Google Flights. If you're departing from SFO, you might also be able to find similarly priced fares to Brisbane (BNE). Additionally, it seems that yesterday's deal to Australia from Newark is still available on select dates at a higher price point.
