Act fast: Marriott Bonvoy members can save up to 25% on worldwide stays

Marriott Bonvoy is currently offering a summer flash sale during which all travelers can save up to 20% (and members can save as much as 25%) at more than 6,500 participating hotels worldwide. Featured properties include those in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe.

You need to book quickly if you want to save on your summertime hotel stays. You must book this deal by June 8 for stays between June 9 and July 6. Here's everything you need to know before you book your summer getaway.

All travelers who book through the sale landing page or the Marriott mobile app can save up to 20% on weeknight and weekend stays at select properties, but Marriott Bonvoy members can save even more — up to 25% — when they book via the app.

The Marriott Bonvoy program is free to join, so there's no reason not to join and save more on your summer hotel stays. Basic members also receive complimentary Wi-Fi and earn points on eligible stays.

Sample booking

Let's examine the savings you can get during Marriott's summer flash sale. A one-night stay at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa can be found for as low as $343 per night in early July. If you book at the standard rate, you'll pay $408 per night for the same room.

That's a savings of $65 (or about 17%) on a one-night stay. Availability for these specially priced rooms is extremely limited, so you need to book quickly to take advantage of the discount.
