Flights from New York to Athens, Greece, are on sale for as little as $309 round-trip, as reported by Secret Flying.

The cheapest options include travel on full-service Oneworld carriers like American and British Airways, however those fares will include a one-stop in each direction. If you're willing to spend a bit more, you can fly nonstop on Norwegian from $386 round-trip.

You'll have to pay for extras on all carriers since tickets are in basic economy. That includes seat selection and a checked bag. However you'll enjoy a free meal on the Oneworld carriers, while you'll have to pay for food on Norwegian.

Google Flights makes finding an itinerary easy. Enter your origin and destination cities. Scroll through the calendar function to find dates and prices that work for you. Finally, click through to book directly with the airline or through an OTA like Priceline or Expedia. You may also be able to find cheap flights through OTA metasearch engine Skyscanner.
