There's always something to see in Costa Rica from museums and cathedrals to rainforests and beaches. American Airlines is offering discounted fares to San Jose from East Coast areas of the U.S. starting below $250 round trip for travel this fall.

One of the most inexpensive offers we found was a flight from Miami (MIA) to San Jose (SJO) for $221 round-trip. The departure flight includes a short stop in Dallas (DFW).
Travelers can snag a flight from New York (LGA) to San Jose (SJO) for $254 round-trip. This trip includes a stop in Miami (MIA) each way.
Flights from Philadelphia (PHL) to San Jose (SJO) are available for $278 round trip. There are short layovers in Miami (MIA) on the departure and Dallas (DFW) on the return.
You can go from Baltimore (BWI) to San Jose (SJO) for $284 round trip. This deal below for travel in the beginning of October includes a stop in Dallas (DFW) each way.
