Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you're using the American Express Platinum Card, you'll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia's courtesy cancellation if you're unable to get the time away from work or family.

WOW Air is offering incredibly cheap fares to Iceland once again, with prices starting from just $200 round-trip. You can fly to Reykjavik (KEF) from several US cities including Baltimore (BWI), Boston (BOS), Los Angeles (LAX), Newark (EWR) and San Francisco (SFO). Availability is limited, but if you can score a ticket at this price it's a great way to see an amazing country. WOW Air is a budget airline so you'll be paying extra fees if you want to choose your seat or check a bag, but we've had good experiences with WOW. Flights are available at these low prices generally from January through May, but be sure to use Google Flights to help you find your ideal itinerary.
