Deal Alert: Fly Singapore Airlines for $490 R/T, Premium Economy for $890

We're seeing great deals from $490 round-trip in economy on Singapore Airlines, which is running a new sale from the US to Asia. Premium economy, which we've written about before, is just a bit more starting at $890 round-trip.

We're seeing these fares, as was first reported by Frequent Flyer Bonuses, from many US cities served by Singapore, including Los Angeles (LAX), Houston (IAH), Seattle (SEA) and New York (JFK). Destinations include Tokyo (NRT), Frankfurt (FRA), Manchester (MAN) and Kuala Lumpur (KUL). Many fares are nonstop. The lowest fares are in Singapore's Economy Lite class, which means you won't be able to cancel your ticket, you'll only earn 50% KrisFlyer miles and you won't be able to upgrade your ticket with miles. We don't suggest you wait to book as these fares expire on August 31!

To search, head to Singapore's website and enter your origin and destination cities. Scroll through the calendar function to find dates and prices that work for you. Finally, click through to book directly with the airline or an OTA like Orbitz or Expedia.
