Airfare deals are typically only available on limited dates. We recommend that you use Google Flights to find dates to fly, then book through an online travel agency, such as Orbitz or Expedia, which allows you to cancel flights without penalty by 11pm Eastern Time within one day of booking. However, if you're using the American Express Platinum Card, you'll need to book directly with the airline or through Amex Travel portal to get 5x MR points. Remember: Fares may disappear quickly, so book right away and take advantage of Orbitz or Expedia's courtesy cancellation if you're unable to get the time away from work or family.
London and Paris are the quintessential cities for tourists looking for a European getaway, though often it can be very expensive to fly across the Atlantic. Fortunately, Norwegian is offering excellent fares from New York (JFK) to both London (LGW) and Paris (CDG) as well as from Boston (BOS) to London (LGW) starting from just $327 round-trip. There's decent availability for departures from December through March 2017, but these flights don't operate on a daily schedule, so you may have to be a bit more flexible with your travel dates. Also note that if you use Google Flights, you'll have to book using the site's separate tickets feature to lock in these low prices.
Keep in mind that Norwegian is a low-cost carrier and will charge you for certain things that are not typically an additional cost on other airlines. However, even with these extra fees, the total cost is still significantly lower than what other carriers are charging for similar flights. These flights are operated by Norwegian's fantastic 787 Dreamliner.
